​WHO IS THE NATIONAL EVENT CENTER (NEC)
The National Event Center (NEC) is a governmental department in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, responsible for organizing state-sponsored events across the country.
One of the major events under their management is the Riyadh Season, a half-a-year-long local winter festival. From 2021 to 2023, we at TT-SEC Global managed the accreditation for this massive event, ensuring efficient operations and access control at over 50 venues throughout the festival’s duration.
THE CHALLENGE
No system or hardware.
No dedicated department or even accreditation operations staff.
No accreditation operation, strategy or plan.
THE SOLUTION
We have provided our services to NEC for a total of 2 years.
During the first year, we produced over 56,000 accreditations at 50+ venues and events across Riyadh.
All hardware and software were set up as per the client’s requirements; this included: 33x swift color printers 150x hand-held scanners 66x laptops 44x Webcams, ESS and ESSGo.
Staff (full-time and part-time) were trained on how to use the system
and how to vet, approve, and reject contacts.
Despite having to deal with many different venues, the strategy and
operational plans were executed with a minimal number of errors considering the circumstances.
​We provided access control reports and accreditation reports (daily,
weekly and monthly).
THE LEGACY
Our system and procedures were integral to the successful operations
and staff control of the event.
The majority of the zones and venues during the event had the access
points under control and experienced minor problems.
Our staff learned a great deal from this 2-year experience and have established themselves as strong leadership candidates within the field.
